What will your child do?

Our clubs use the education version of Minecraft - Minecraft Education Edition which provides children with a controlled, safe, and engaging environment. This version enhances the popular game with activities and tasks that promote teamwork.

Children will experience everything from changing weather and switching off PVP to exploring historical places and dealing with a village at the foot of an erupting volcano. We integrate literacy and numeracy skills in the most enjoyable way possible!

In addition to this, students will gain some knowledge in coding. We use excellent tools like Agents and Turtles in the Minecraft Code Studio to help children understand principles such as algorithms and variables.

Our programme also encourages daily outdoor computing-unplugged activities. All our tools and methods align with the KS2/KS3 curriculum for IT & Computing for Primary and Secondary schools across the country.

Please Note: Outdoor activities are weather-dependent and at the discretion of the teacher and facilitator. Weather conditions, particularly rain and wind, can impact certain activities.

COURSE OUTLINE

Our hugely popular Minecraft Summer Camp is back for its ninth year. Founded by Sonny Sharma, a fully qualified and experienced IT teacher and former Assistant Headteacher, the camp has grown immensely over the years.

This year, the camp will be led by Mr Jay, Mr Sonny's son. Mr Jay, who is enhanced DBS cleared, has spent eight years supporting his father and is now taking over the day-to-day running of the camp.

Along with a team of fully-fledged Minecraft experts, Mr Jay will ensure your child enjoys a fun and educational experience.

For more details about our Coding and Minecraft holiday camps, and to learn about the daily activities and what your child will be learning, please contact us via the contact form. We will send you a link and password to our course outline (please note that the outline may be subject to change but will provide an example day).
