MEET MATT BUXTON
#edtech
matt
Matt is Head of Learning Innovations at New Ways to Learn and is a proud father of four.
Matt has over 15 years experience in education, qualifying as a Humanities teacher in 2001. He went on quickly to become Assistant Head of ICT Development at the multi-award winning Djanogly City Academy Nottingham (yep, Sonny was there too!) before leading ICT at the Academy as Director of Learning Technologies. During this time he was also Curriculum Leader for KS3 across a Project Based Learning curriculum.

Matt is a keen musician, he currently owns guitars (8), ukuleles, mandolins, bongos, tambourines, a keyboard and 3 harmonicas! He can make quite a racket. Matt’s understanding of education, the political agendas surrounding recent changes and how ICT can support teaching and learning is second to none.
