It was a great experience to learn more about how iPads can be used effectively in school and taught me about some great appsthat I could use easily in my own classroom.

There is no denying that the iPad has the potential to be one of the most transformational tools for education.  Yet in so many schools it is used simply as a web browser, a research tool or for playing games.

These workshops are about breaking away from the norm, which has little or no impact on teaching and learning. They are about using the iPad to really push the boundaries around creativity, assessment, collaboration and even parental engagement. When we run these in-class, they are absolutely awesome!
